Hello Andrea,
One more thing. When I try to post a comment on the guestbook. It shows an error and I have figured it out that is because I am including a "/" in the content. Like in "e/mail".
When I delete the "/" everything is posted correctly.
This is however becoming anoying. Is there a way to configure the guestbook to accept the "/" and all other type of characters?
Thanks a lot!
Nick

Hello Andrea,
I am forwarding every comment on my guestbook to my e/mail address, however when I opne the e/mail the following fields are displayed:
email: / post_id: / gbid: / name: / message: / date: / ip_addr: / show_email: / show_message:
Is there a way to show in the e/mail only:
name: / message: / date:
Please, advise if possible and how to make it work.
Congratulations! for your guestbook.
I love it! :-)
Nick

I use WCS
I have a problem with the installation, I see the login page, after this I get white page, tried 755 instead of 777, copied the php_guestbook.php.file direct on the server, get error 0400 en 0500.

Nate if you send me an e-mail with an ftp login I can try to install the script for you.

Andrea, I tried all of your suggestions to no avail. I don't understand. I have the permissions set exactly as the instructions say, I have uploaded the files correctly, but I am unable to get to the configure guestbook page.

Posted by AndreaMay 24, 2013 - 08:12 am
Nate, blank screen... Try to reupload the php_guestbook.php file, but this time instead of leaving "automatic" file type selection in the FTP software, select an option to upload the file as bin file. If this does not work try to upload as text file. Also double check that all the files were uploaded correctly

trying to use this guestbook inserted into the html of my page. I have followed the directions to the letter and set all permissions as instructed. I cannot get to the configure guestbook page at all. I go to the admin.html page and enter the password and the screen is just blank after that. Any ideas on what to do? Please advise.

I really like the GuestBook Thanks!
One thing I can find. Post in case "Posted by" Where can I find starting line? There's just this needs to be translated, but it fails. And of course it would be nice to do a bit airy, as here it is.
