I also received similar email from UK Lottery +++++...3 days ago.At first it seems nice and shock to hear.I almost send my particulars to them but then I remembered a story that one people has experienced the similar thing in the newspaper.
I believe this email is fake and these people wanna cheats we all. This matter has been highlighted in my country newspaper because one person borrowed money from neighbour to pay for the process. This agent needs him to pay the process which cost more than a thousand. At the end, he lost all his money and owed money with his neighbour. Then they asked the subject to the embassy and the embassy saying that never ever cheated with this type of business because no particular country does it.I hope everbody clear with this.
Make money with you own effort then we know how hard to look for money and this ppl who sending this email are already planned this from the early story to the end.

Dear,
Sumit Rathi

Is it true that you have received email from the UK national lottery ?
And then, Did you get the money from it ?
Because I also got the same email which said that I got prize 250.000
Pound sterling.
He asked me to send some of money for the cost of the courier.
I am afraid that it is just a cheat or only trick, therefore I want you
to inform to me about the truth of this email.
Thank you very much, for your information

Edit
Well, even though I hold several University degrees, this really looked authentic. I was foolish enough to supply a lot of personal information.

When I was asked to supply a copy of my Driver's License or Passport, I became suspicious.

I contacted Scotland Yard Fraud Department , which notified me that this was a fraud. They asked for information which I supplied.

It is indecent to prey on trusting individuals, especially seniors.

Please don't allow yourself to get caught in this kind of trap.

An interesting note: The same File Number and ticket numbers as well as the Serial Number are the same as those used in previous notifications.

I will be less trusting in the future...which is sad.

I received this fake e-mail as well and before researching I replied with my information.

Are they going to start calling me or harassing me?

What should I do?
